I was on a trip to the Dal Lake in Kashmir. In this lake, all the people live in the flats made of boats. The tourists can rent these boats and spend their days here. The flats boats are also available in the same area. The elders in the Dal Lake state that the flat boats have spoiled the Dal Lake to a great extent. The wastes of the humans are disposed off in the lake making the color of the lake change to a great extent. The purity of the lake is at question as the lake looks green in color. During winter the lake completely gets covered in snow and there will be no water in these areas.

This is a great tourist destination and the tourists show interest in buying the flats boats for sale and renting them. There is every thing available in the lake including the departmental store, pharmacy etc. Similar to this, one can see the flats boats for sale in Kerala state. This state is covered with a lot of water and natural lakes. A lot of tourists visit Kerala on a regular basis as the natural treatment is very famous here. The boat ride in the lake will be very refreshing and a wonderful experience. In the lakes there will be cycle boats available for the families and one can hire these boats and go for a ride around the lake. There are engine boats which carry the persons in large numbers. In certain seasons the tourists will come in large numbers and these boats meant for carrying a maximum of 40 members will carry more than 80 people and meet with accidents. A lot of people have lost their lives in these accidents getting immersed in the lake. The boats do not give the safety jackets also to the tourists.

A lot of such accidents occur in the tourist spots and despite several measures taken by the Government, these types of incidents occur in the tourist spots. The cycle boat ride will be filled with fun with big cartoon characters decorating the boat. The children take photos in these boats along with their family. These cycle boats are safe compared to the engine boats. The engine boats take the tourists to more long distances in the lake where the tourists can see the monkeys and other animals on either side of the lake.
